If you have time, or the inclination, to escape the wonders of the Adirondack Park, our closest major metropolis is the cultural rich and WOW food extravaganza, Montreal, Quebec. Passports are handy and will be required soon for border passing. Montreal is only 1 1/2 hours from the northern border of the Park, and holds the wonders to enjoy.
