We invite you to explore one of the USA's largest state park, the Adirondacks - located in Upstate New York.  No admission fees required.  Our public park is visited  by an estimated 10 million visitors yearly.  No wonder!  The Adirondack Park is 1,000 million years old, 6.1 million acres, 160 miles wide, 1 mile high (43 mountains rise above 4,000 feet), 30,000 miles of streams, 1,500+ miles of rivers, 3,000 ponds and lakes, 53 species of mammals, 2,000 miles of trails.  The Adirondack Park is the largest publicly protected area in the contiguous US (greater than Yellowstone, Everglades, Glacier and Grand Canyon combined!).  We have a lot of life's zest to share!

Quick Sampling by Subject Accommodations, Dining, Camping, Shopping, Restaurants, Farms and Farmers Markets, Antiques, Bingo, Horseback Riding, Railroads, Rock Climbing, Skiing, Maple Sugar Shacks, Beaches, Birding, Biking, Hiking, Fishing, Fun, Guide Services, Snowmobiling, Golf, Museums, Libraries, Music, Tennis, Spas, Theater & Culture, Lakes, Mountains for our 46'er club, lots of beaches and waterways, videos, and lastly our Directory of Adirondack Communities or MASTER DIRECTORY.  View all our links and take a 'walk in the park' with us.  (warning - too much to handle for one viewing, you might want to bookmark us!)
